Headed off at about 7:30 after another breakfast of muesli. Road was flat and wind good so we made good time. Stopped off at Bradshaw Bridge, the bridge to the Bradshaw military base and took some pictures of the Victoria River.
We did 40 km under 2 hours and stopped for lunch at 10:30 at the 60 km mark. Had a rest for 30 minutes and then back on the bike to beat the sun.
We were heading for a rest stop 107 km from Timber Creek but as I got to within 7 km of where it should have been there was a sign that said it was 20 km further on. Not happy because it was about 1:30 and hot.
Passed some fantastic rock formations along the way though.
Eventually got there and settled in under cover. Spent the afternoon talking to a couple who were travelling around Australia for their 15 th time.i
More pasta and sardines for tea.
We aim to be in Kununurra tomorrow, about 110 km.
Can't wait for a shower.
